Client story · Not-for-profit
Making 53 years of advocacy visible again.
A 53-year-old women's association renewed its brand and its reach, so more people know its work.

The challenge
India Mahila Association has advocated for women's issues in British Columbia for 53 years, run by volunteers. After more than five decades of work, it needed to regenerate its impact: to make more people aware of what it does, to share its history and to bring its members closer together.
It had no digital presence to build on, so the work started from the ground up.
The work
Everything here grows out of one complete strategy: a distinct brand voice and identity for the association, carried through every channel.
A renewed identity
A new brand identity, with a logo that carries the founders' image.
A website we built and maintain
indiamahila.com, designed and built from the ground up with the renewed identity, and maintained by our team.
A digital presence from the ground up
Social media channels, so people can find the association and follow its work.
A communication strategy
A strategy that strengthens brand recall and supports the association's advocacy by highlighting its history.
Stories that carry its history
Articles, documentaries, videos and social media content, including the concept and content production for the film Celebrating 50 Years of Empowerment.
Print that captures 53 years
Brochures, flyers, leaflets, roll-up banners and the Empower 2026 souvenir, which tell the story of the association's 53 years.
Strategic partners
Partners identified among other women's advocacy groups and mental health organizations, to extend the impact the association creates.
Endowment awards
Endowment awards identified and conceived with Kwantlen Polytechnic University, Vancouver Community College and Langara College, so the association can empower women through education.
Showcase events
Events that celebrate the association and its work, including the 50th anniversary celebration in 2024 and Empower 2026.
A closer community
Women's Day events and social events that bring members together.
