Cookie policy
Draft for review. This text is a starting point, not legal advice. Counsel must check it against the cookies and tools the live site actually uses, and confirm which rules apply. Beyond PIPEDA and BC PIPA, Quebec's Law 25 may apply to visitors in Quebec, and the GDPR and UK rules to visitors from Europe and the United Kingdom.

What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage and pixels, work in much the same way. This policy covers them too.
How this site uses them
We use cookies for the purposes below. Before you make a choice, only strictly necessary cookies are set.
| Type | What it does | Your choice |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Keep the site secure and working, and remember your cookie choice. | Always on. The site cannot work without them. |
| Analytics | Count visits and show which pages are useful, so we can improve the site. | Off until you accept them. |
| Embedded media | Play videos from YouTube inside our pages. | Off until you allow them in Cookie preferences or choose to play a video. |
Cookies we use
[Add the full list after a cookie scan of the production site: each cookie's name, provider, purpose and how long it lasts.]
Other sites and services
Our contact form and booking page are provided by HubSpot, and our links to YouTube, LinkedIn and Facebook open those sites. Each sets its own cookies under its own policy.
Your choices
When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept optional cookies and lets you choose by type. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie preferences link at the bottom of every page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although parts of the site may then not work.
Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when the cookies we use change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
